Project #3 - Treasure Box

Another project that was a gift for a darling niece.

The box is the My Creations Card Box from CTMH. I think it will also be a perfect size to keep all the things a girl treasures.

I used the Stella paper pack to coordinate with the bold colors in this little one's room and embellished with the Just Blooms Flutter Paper Shapes and the Opaques Mocha Adhesive Gems (one of my current favorites!)

One hand made gift given. One more project down!

A continutation of the post in which I shared layouts I created over a month ago

Here's another layout I created back in May. I used the Stella paper packet to document a sweet tradition - our bunny cake at Easter.

I used the complements canvas shapes that coordinate with the Stella papers for my title and embellishments. I really can't get enough of that canvas texture.

I created my own journaling spot using stamps - a bracket at the top and bottom and lines in between. I love doing this because my stories often take more space than purchased journaling spots give. Besides, I really like that the paper is a perfect match!

Project #1 - Scripture book

Check one off the list! I've finished my first project of my 36 project goal. I created this mini that focuses on inspiration verses.

I used a tutorial created by Teresa Collins to create this matchbook mini-album out of one sheet of 12X12 paper.  (I used a sheet from the Stella paper pack from CTMH.)

Once I had the album built, I printed some of my favorite verses to fit the pages.

I kept my embellishments simple - the Just for You stamp set with coordinating inks and a few sparkles.


One of my favorite things about this album is that it is small enough to carry in my purse. It is always with me when I need a pick me up - whether creative or spiritual!

March Paper Trail Blog Hop - Stella

Welcome to the Paper Trail and thanks for stopping in! This month we are featuring the Stella paper packet from Close to My Heart. If you've arrived from Vicki's blog, Wizard's Hangout, you've already seen some great artwork and you are well on your way. If this is your first stop, don't worry. From the first, I was enthralled by the colors in this paper, and the sewing theme in the flower petal and pattern piece paper. I also fell in love with the Stella Canvas Shapes - the Complements that coordinate perfectly with this paper packet.







The colors in Stella looked like they were made for my Easter photos from last year, so I created this layout inspired by a Page Map sketch.

I used the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut my title block in two sizes and attached the top one with dimensional adhesive. (It is created from both sides of one piece of B&T paper.)

I used the zip strip, a bit of cocoa ribbon and some of the Complements Canvas Shapes to round out this creativity themed layout.
